In wake of the recent cold fronts that have hit Miami,Fl. One man against all odds has created a germ blocking technology to protect himself from other South Floridians that have colds at the workplace. He has invented Tape Stick Tissue or TST Block for short. He has done this in order to stay “Miami Sexy” which he says is “as necessary as food or water in Miami life and culture, staying sexy means everything in this region of the US.”

Sexy women have been spreading these colds in Miami and it comes from their attempts to “look cute.” They have simply overdressed and are making themselves sick. Overheating and hot flashes have created the perfect scenario for germs to multiply.

One woman who remains to stay unanimous about the rapid spread of colds in South Florida, we will call her Lis, has said, “It’s our only chance to wear boots!” But the rise of boot wearing in Florida, a state where that foot wear is foreign, has created the “Wet Socks” situation and has contributed to the problem.

In order to understand this we must understand what these recent weather changes have done to people in South Florida. Usually in the winter time the temperature are in the 80′s but recent weather has been in the mid 50′s. It’s enough to make a Toronto native shiver at the thought of such a drastic weather change.

Women are practically in bathing suits and then forced to put on a sweaters and high healed boots. These women are simply a hot mess.

Moments after idea was invented

Which brings us to Carlito-Sway, marketing guru, entrepreneur, inventor and music producer who happen to work in an office cubicle with a bunch of these ladies. Not only has he been successful at blocking these women from his sexiness by wearing his wedding ring at all time but in a time of desperation has found a way to block all germ cold attacks with products anyone can find at their own work desk or local cvs.

Carlito says, “I felt like the engineers at Apollo 7 or 12 or whatever the Tom Hanks film where he was in space and the smartest persons in the world needed to find items in the spaceship to protect them from bad things in the air”

And so as the story goes… Everyone at the office was coughing, sneezing and blowing noses. Some people resorted to masks and the scene appeared like that movie were the monkey eats a banana and a person eats the banana too and then they get infected and something about a movie theatre and Dustin Hoffman acts serious and a pilot has a awkward moment and the town does not blow up, kind of like that movie.

That was the scene and Carlito Sway was terrified.

Then something happened! Angie across his cubicle sneezed so loud that a shock wave hit Carlito and an invention was created. He took a tissue and a fellow co-employee took a roll of scotch tape and wrapped it around his face and head. At first he was worried that the tape would stick and affect his hair gel but the scotch tape did not stick and it stayed secured. GERMS did not stand a chance against this block.

I would not be surprised if people from Texas or Puerto Rico take this measure to protect themselves, noting the high population of cheap Latin and white fathers in those regions who will protect loved ones as cost effective as possible.

Unlike China, The US does not have facemasks mandatory by the state, so the Tape Stick Tissue or TST Block is best for regions of cheap people. Not ghetto people just cheap. In fact local rich businessmen are already considering TST block for all employees and their wives.

The tissue industry has prepared for mass production of TST block offering lemon and aloe scented tissues.

Carlito Sway sexiness remains and as president of ACL Management and Marketing which clients include many Miami businesses, he feels this new invention will help his clients “fight fire with highly flammable tissues” at these germs that have appeared in South Florida.

Carlito also plans to test more fabrics including napkins and paper towels to see which will be the most effective against BAD germs. Although he notes tissues will become the norm because of comfort and easy of use when blowing ones nose, he thinks napkins might be useful after eating lunch and dinner.

For more info on TST Technology stayed tuned to the ACL Video Flyer Page.

Printed Flyers Suck! Get real fans w/ Video Flyers

Finally we can make some noise with SXSW taking a look at our proposal. We can’t wait for people to start voting on it. We think its the best but judge for yourself and then let us know we have the best proposal for sure if you log on and vote.

Here the link! Click it and Share it and We will see you at SXSW 2012!!!

Here is our panel in a net shell:

In the words of Mitch Hedberg. “Wherever I walk, people try and hand me a flyer. And when someone tries to hand me out a flyer, it’s kinda like they’re saying, “Here, you throw this away.” Printed flyers are trash… literally. The movement of Video Flyers is taking over. At the same financial cost of printing flyers, accomplish what printed flyers no longer do – engage and entertain the public in less than a minute. If you come to this panel, you will learn how to promote your band more effectively through this innovative marketing tool.

This is happening NOW! Between Facebook, Youtube, online newsletters, newspapers, blogs and lifestyle websites; the scene is set for your band to promote yourself and reach more fans in a new way. This will be the standard in a few years, so how would you like to be the first in your city or music scene to explode with Video Flyers? It maybe hands down one of the most important tools for bands to be ahead of the game in 2012.

The top 4 reasons video flyers work is simple to understand for any band, just remember the 4 E’s. 1. Engaging 2. Entertaining 3. Eco-Friendly 4. Everlasting. Some say, “Video Flyers are nothing new”… Really? Then why are 99% of bands still printing flyers that end up as street litter? Our 1% movement is the future in marketing concerts and music-related products like Cd’s, videos and merchandising.

Winter Music Conference week needs some latin flavor, some Arroz Con Leche to be precise. Leave it up to PulsoBeatto find the best out in the Electro-Latin & Funky Breaks scene and bring it to the Electric Pickle in Miami. Mark up your calenders because on March 9th we’re back with Arroz Con Leche WMC’11 Edition, featuring four groundbreaking DJ’sscattered around the US and brought together by us to blow the speakers out. The Electric Pickle, located in the Wynwood Art District, is about to have a night that’s going down in history as it forms part of yet another Arroz Con Leche. Click here to check out one of our previous parties.

Directly from San Francisco, two of the funkiest and down-low DJ’s that have been bringing it for years: Anthony Mansfield (Hector Works) who has left his mark onBurning Man for the last decade and Tal M. Klein (Aniligital Music Records) with his “drunk funk”. These two talents are currently working on a collaborative project “AM/TM”, so you can’t miss what they have in store for us!

On the Caribbean tip, we’re bringing in the Tropical Bass , and you just may be wondering what that is. It is Deep Bass, Hip Hop, Latin Boom Bap, Baltimore Bass, Folkloric, Electro-Cumbia, Dancehall, Moombahton and everything under the sun that will make you want to get up and dance! Directly from Philly, Juanderfulis bringing us some of his sickest tracks, he sure knows how to heat up the dance floors as he’s done it multiple times for his Tropicalismo Parties which has showcased DJ’s such as: Uproot Andy, DJ/rupture and DJ Sabo. Closer to home, we find ourselves with DJ Stereo 77 coming to us from Orlando bringing his Filtered Sunshine to the pickle!

Anthony Mansfield has been on a 18-year journey through the world of psychedelic dance music ever since attending the now-legendary full moon massives of San Francisco’ s Wicked Crew in the early 90’s. Anthony spent the rest of the decade in New York, spreading the gospel of deep house across the Empire State with a late-night radio show, his 8-year-running weekly, and the countless underground parties that gave birth to his own crew, Hector Works Soundsystem. After an exhausting and debaucherous 2-year run as GM, talent booker, and resident DJ at upstate’s largest live music venue, The Odyssey, Anthony was ready to return to San Francisco.
Anthony hit the West Coast running in 2001, joining his old friend DJ M3 as resident DJ and co-promoter of the infamous Green Gorilla Lounge in a string of successful weekly club nights, true seat-of-your-pants underground parties, and blowout monthly events across the Bay Area, with some of the city’s and world’s best names in dance music. Anthony has left his mark on Burning Man for the last decade as well, at the Space Lounge, Green Gorilla, and Disco Knights sound camps, with a trail of exhausted dancers and party people in the wake of his many epic sets on the playa.
Anthony has been producing his own particular brand of dance music since his first release on Rong Records in ’04 with Ben Cook as “ Barfly”. Quickly moving to found his own label, Hector Works, in 2005 with NYC deep-house production wizard Nick Chacona, Anthony has worked with Garth, Tal M. Klein, Sneak-E Pete, M3, and others in the last five years, releasing tracks on Gomma, Moodmusic, Aniligital, and Om Records. His tunes have received nods (and plays) from some of the world’ s top DJs, including Dimitri from Paris, Harvey, Greg Wilson, Doc Martin, Idjut Boys, Ivan Smaggle, The Revenge, Pete Herbert, and Playgroup. Camped out in his room at Moulton Studios, Anthony is currently hard at work on the 14th release for Hector Works.

Growing up around the cumber sounds of his family unquestionably laid down the rhythms to his soundtrack. Even with this being true, his musical interests have stretched from Bobby Brown pop to Pennywise punk, Wu hip-hop to Rock en Español. At 15, electronic beats invaded his musical palette, having an affinity towards House music and all it’s guises.

A move to Philly would provide the added dimensions of soulful sounds, old school vinyl, and the rich DJ legacy that continues today. Most recently, Tropical Bass opened up the doors to not only communicate his musical breadth but also entertain his need to express his roots. His TROPICALISMO parties embody just this. Working together with his brothers and guest DJ’s at his events, such as Poirier, DJ/rupture, and Uproot Andy have further expanded his musical range. The pieces all start coming together, not neatly defined, but global in mind.

I went on the hunt to some find some of the best Relived songs by indie rock artists. It was a lot of fun. I discovered some great music I think you will all love to hear.

Feel free to play the video playlist in the background and enjoy.

1. Starsailor the Britpop rock quartet recently did “Jealous Guy.” They Really do an intimate version of the song and I like it a lot. To me the John Lennon version is more laidback but I love bringing this song back. I rarely hear it on the radio and for Starsailor to relive it, is a great tribute to John Lennon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8G8ny8j4hKk

2. On the Black Keys album “Factory. What a cool country rock feel version of the Kinks song “Act nice and gentle.” This is a live performance that I really like. Slowing it down with a cover to the kinks was a good way to break the show http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wm5j-zflKfI

3. Cold War Kids has a special place in my heart. I saw them live just 4 months after they formed in California. This is a live performance they did in 2007. “Well Well Well,” the John Lennon original song was covered/relived by them with a huge rock sound. I love the personality they give to the song. The melody is fantastic.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MRbDMcFKRk

4. Baby I’m Yours from one of favorite bands the Artic Monkeys did the original true justice. Barbara Lewis was well known for her smooth style of rhythm and blues. The Monkeys make it an upbeat rock tune to vibe too. Very cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0jR8adohcY

5. Against All Odds- The american electronic indie pop band Postal Service was featured on the Wicker Park soundtrack with this remake and it received a lot of popular reviews. Check out the relived Phil Collins track! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvjlivsCBcM
