I got in contact with Pablo from Colombian Power and discussed some aspects of the company. Pablo says “the company was born in New York in mid 2007, due to a magic inspiration.”

When I asked out of curiosity about the name he choose for the brand he commented; “No -doubt the name Colombian Power carried in an energy drink could be controversial. However our main goal after we create the controversy is to have people talk about Colombia in the end, you would realize that the “supreme energy” which “Sgau” (the logo) can give you is better and healthier than any other energy.  “Colombian Power is supreme energy”

Pablo assured me that this drink is not just for the Colombian or a Latino market but for ALL markets. It is a drink for the masses to share and be introduced to Colombian culture through a unorthodoxed medium. He said, “The energy drink called Colombian Power would be a great communication vehicle to promote Colombia in a main stream young market”
Well I guess Colombia has more to give than just coffee power, NOW everyone can get some Colombian Power too!
