    Alex Yanes- Miami Artist ready to Represent!

    Alex Yanes, 31, uses bold colors and clean defined outlines, to bring his figurative style to life.  Born and raised in Miami, this Artist’s work encompasses the culture and vibrancy of South Florida. “My upbringing can be seen in color schemes and content of my work… it’s really Miami. I am a genuine product of this city.”

    In 2007 Yanes’ paintings were featured as set back drops on The Learning Channels hit show “Miami Ink”. Since then he has been commissioned by various corporate entities such as Red Bull, Sony, Kleenex, Gibson Guitars, My Space Latino and Publix Supermarkets. In December of 2008, Yanes’ custom designed calendar debuted in all of Publix Supermarket’s stores. The artist painted a 13 piece series, consisting of Florida’s endangered species to bring awareness to the fragile eco-system which surrounds us all.

    Alex Yanes’ current exhibit “Majestic Beauty” which consists of 12 paintings and 7 installation pieces will be on display at The Miami Children’s Museum from April 23, 2009 through August 30, 2009.
    Alex is one of the 19 Visual Artists  that will be showing his art work at “Arroz con Leche” hosted at Transit Lounge (729 SW 1st Ave Miami, FL 33130 ). Sat, Dec 5th from 10pm-5am- Art Basel weekend.
